FRIENDS OF THE EARTH DEFENDS THE ENVIRONMENT AND CHAMPIONS A HEALTHY AND JUST WORLD.

Vision

We are a bold, fearless voice fighting for transformational change to protect our planet and the people who call it home.

Goals

1.Secure federal action addressing the climate crisis by phasing out fossil fuel extraction and use and adopting programs that provide a just transition for workers and communities of color.
2.Win policy and corporate commitments to foster a healthy, equitable, and ecologically regenerative food system that is free of toxic chemicals, protects biodiversity, and is climate friendly.
3.Transform economic decision-making by rewriting tax and investment policies to protect people and the planet, and expanding democratic and procedural rights of environmental justice communities.
